Souljourners for Christ Ministries International (SCMI) is a mission organization that reaches out to the needy in all nations. We provide help to the hungry, the sick, and those that lack. We give all glory to God for the compassion in our hearts. Through the power of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, we walk in boldness and are open to signs and wonders as the Holy Word of God speaks.
We have rescheduled our 2011 fall mission trip to Israel for March 2012. Although we are disappointed that we are unable to go this fall, we are looking forward to being in Israel for Purim in March. The mission is (tentatively) scheduled for the first 3 weeks of March and if anyone is unable to stay for the entire 3 weeks, we will work with you on an earlier departure from Israel. We will keep you updated with information on the mission trip, including expenses during the upcoming months. However, at this time, we are looking at a cost of approximately $3000 per person, which includes airfare.
Souljourners for Christ Ministries has been invited by in-country Pastors to minister in Africa, India, Guatemala, and several other countries, and we will go as the Lord directs. However, until then, there are many local missions here in Tulsa, Ok. which are in need of help. Until it is time for us to go to foreign land again, we will be busy providing help to the hungry, the sick, and those that lack here at home (Tulsa & surrounding areas).
If you feel the Lord has called you to the mission field (foreign country or USA) and you would like to partner with Souljourners as a team member, a financial partner or both, please contact us. Regular updates concerning locations and cost of all missions will be available on this website and Facebook. All missions to foreign countries are short term. The team(s) will stay no less than one week and no longer than four weeks in any country.
A passport is required for traveling. Therefore, we recommend you acquire your passport well in advance of your travels. You may go to www.travel.state.gov for all information pertaining to passports.
Luke 10:5, 8, 9 – Whatever house you enter, first say, “Peace be to this house.” And whatever city you enter, and they receive you, eat what is set before you; and heal those in it who are sick, and say to them, “The kingdom of God has come near to you.”
